Cameron very wisely side-stepped, and now no politician wants to be the PM that invokes Article 50 and commits career suicide.
Even Boris, who was more than happy to be the face of the Leave campaign, doesn’t want to go down in history as the politician who knowingly condemned the UK to recession, breakup and years of pain.
So the UK remains in the EU until someone is prepared to fall on their sword…
