Bush looks for new ways to hurt America

Bush looks for new ways to hurt AmericaWhen you are in the middle of a battle to win an election it’s probably not a good idea to threaten the voters. But in a televised speech yesterday, George did just that:

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful… and so are we!” he said. “They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people… and neither do we!”

But this isn’t the first time Bush has blundered in public, far from it! Here are just a few of my favourite “Bushisms“:

  • If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure.
  • Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.
  • On the Holocaust: “We all lived in this century. I didn’t live in this century…
  • I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy – but that could change.
  • I understand small business growth. I was one.
  • Will the highways on the internet become more few?
  • I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future.
  • A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls.
  • It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water.
  • One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures.
  • Expectations rise above that which is expected.
  • Well, I think if you say you’re going to do something and don’t do it, that’s trustworthiness.
  • I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
  • The senator has got to understand that he can’t have it both ways. He can’t take the high horse and then claim the low road.
  • The most important job is not to be Governor, or First Lady in my case.
  • I spoke out on interracial dating. I spoke out against that. I spoke out against interracial dating. I support the policy of interracial dating.
