LEGO Minifigures Series 6 bump codes

Most people don’t realise I’m an even bigger geek than I let on. I collect LEGO minfigures, I have literally hundreds of them at home, including all of the “Collectables” series to date.

The Minifigure “Collectables” series come in opaque polybag packets, designed to stop you identifying which Minifigure you’re buying. But each packet has a faint “bump code” along the bottom, which can be used to distinguish the contents.

I have highlighted the Series 6 bumps with a sharpie and photographed them, (partly to help others, and partly to prevent myself buying the same figure twice)! I currently have 9 of the 16 characters, here are the Series 6 bump codes for the Minifigures I’ve got so far:

  1. Hi Neil,

How accurate do you believe the bump codes to be? It’s just I tried this method today and it failed me, my Skater girl was definitely different to yours, good luck with the rest of your collection :O)

  2. In Series 6, the dot codes are specific to a lot number! Different lots may or may not share the same code. Most postings on the web have yet to figure this new twist out, so beware. Neil, could you type the lot # above by each image? Some are visible in the image, some are not.

For example, the dot code in lot 444B1 for the Alien is the one for the Flamenco Dancer in lot 645B1. The code for some (maybe all) figures are the same in lots 443B1 and 444B1, as well as 644B1 and 645B1, but different between these groups. Lego now permutes the codes from time to time as lots are produced. Try feeling for parts in the packages as well.

  3. I am after the Lady Liberty LEGO mini fig for my daughters collection, but keep getting others. I think I have 3 of the bloody Minotaur. Is anyone willing to swap me for a Lady Liberty and I will swap a Minotaur, or something else that you may require.

  4. Tried to feel what’s inside the foil packs because I want the Lady Liberty so bad! Spent like 15 mins checking all of the packs while at a local Target Store. The store associate is looking at me strangely like “what the hell is he doin!?!” And guess what I got instead, a Flamenco Dancer! The fan feels like the Lady Liberty’s head. Goin’ there again this evening for another try. This time I will check and look for the foil pack that doesn’t have the bumps. Hope it works and will post again soon for updates! Happy Liberty Hunting guys! 😀

  5. I am sorry I am new to this site and cant figure out how to swap mini figs can you help me?

  6. The LEGOLAND Florida amusement park looks really exciting for my children, we grew up with LEGOS so we can’t wait to ride the roller coasters and see all the detailed LEGO Models.
